UNREQUITED

friends and lovers, it’s all the same

(of love) felt toward someone who does not feel the same way toward you

Is it selfish that it hurts so very much ?
I guess maybe the classical definition is unrequited love.
Usually, this phrase and the emotions that go with it are sometimes in the domain of individuals who are seeking love and marriage…….

But that’s not necessarily so. Why do people not recognize the importance of friendship. The emotions that go into a meaningful friendship, are exactly the same as a marital relationship.
Just because it is “merely” a friend, should we never feel emotion?
Society would say that probably some emotions should be left in the domain of marital bliss. I don’t think we should always listen to everything that society tells us. Society lies to us about so many things

You can’t help what you feel.
Usually the term said fully is “unrequited love.”
But it is more complicated than that. That is such a narrow viewpoint. I feel the emotions of my friends and when they’re hurting I’m hurting. it’s just the way I am..
Maybe that is the way I want to be treated, I don’t know.
Sometimes I feel like I’m suffering so badly, and no one asks how I’m doing. Even if they did, I don’t know if I could tell them. Others often want to…
