I need a hug and not the regular one-sided hug. I want our bodies joined where I can feel our bones crushing, the type that leaves me feeling much lighter than my actual weight, the type where my bones can slowly melt into my arms, and the type that heals the scars in my heart. The type that whispers I’m finally home. That’s the kind of hug I’m waiting for.
