NOBODY CAN HURT ME TODAY
**

Nobody can hurt me today

no longer are my feet made of clay

Spirits so light

no longer the fight

things happen when you pray
**

I remember the day

you came my way

You are like a song

this cannot be wrong

But I never knew what to say
**

You know I’m just a streetcar

I’ll help you erase that scar

I simply can’t help it

I really can’t shelf it

welcome back from where you are
**

Don’t expect me not to stare

blame it on the color of your hair

I came back from the city

they saw me acting giddy

they expected me not to care
**

don’t be frightened in your heart

just say I’ve got this right from the start

just buy a house on mars

drive only Corvette cars

cranking Amy Lee till ears smart
**
