KEEP MY MONEY

Where’s my money, did you take it?
Give it back or I can’t make it.
The hunger in my stomach hurts.
Should I catch and eat blackbirds,
and drink rainwater for my thirst.

I’ll go to the river, I know a place.
If you’re hungry, it’s a saving grace.
The woolly booger I made last night
and oh, that big fish put up such a fight.

I walk the fields with my knapsack.
I’m thrilled with bare feet on Earth I feel,
gathering wild onions and mushrooms
And dandelions and clover
and my fish to make Gods greatest meal.

You can keep my money, I don’t want it.
Whatever I need, Earth has granted it
It’s not McDonald’s French fries.
It’s not a burger they supersize.
just delicious food from our wonderful planet.
