To me you are timeless. You’re not young and you are not old. You are simply you. Many have come before you. Your ancestors gave you a gift.
It’s the gift of you. Beautiful you, I chance to enjoy this life and each day that is presented to you.
It’s a silent gift, a testament to those that came before you. We are all the result of their decisions as well as our own decisions. We never knew which decision is right and wrong. If we picked the wrong door to open, we don’t have to live with the consequences for the rest of our life. We can close that door and repair ourselves. I swear it’s true.
When you stand alone in a hard rain and the wind pushing you down, that can feel like weight of life, seemingly trying to destroy you. But that’s not true, everyone has the same trials. It’s simply how we perceive them that’s the key. Sometimes life circumstances force us to see things as insurmountable obstacles. That is especially true when life throws horrible things at us one after another like a Gatling gun. Decisions we make may be right and they may be wrong we don’t always know. But eventually we will learn and stop making false judgment. The skies will be blue again and the sun will shine brightly. Please lean on a loving friend . Lean on me when you feel weak and I will do the same.
If a person steps forward in life because God told him to do that, keep him. He loves you and has your best interests at heart at all times. I am that person .
Things from the past won’t be your end. Draw those things into your heart and use them to make yourself stronger, not weaker. The very things that are taking you down, can give you the power to lift yourself up.
To survive, not to give up and give in. We are better than this.
We are programmed for want, but you and I are more than that. We are all children of the earth. We are the dust of stars. Somehow, we are alive and feel time and earth in our soul. I know you can feel it too, because I’ve seen the wonders that you have inside of you. I had the great privilege of having a front row seat to the beautiful human that you are, both in your poetry and in your insurmountable love for other people. Love in such a presence that perhaps you allow it to destroy you to a degree.
I can’t cheapen my beliefs. We struggle and work to make a life on this earth. Sometimes we despair that the struggle will never end until we die.
But you know it’s God’s work and we can’t let him down because when we let down God we lay down ourselves in surrender to the enemy. We must fight the enemy lest he kill us and drag us to hell with him.
Sometimes what we never realize is that it’s not arriving at your destination, it’s the journey itself that is the worthwhile thing.
I can’t let you down lelu A., because if you go down, I go down too.
