Hi Erlijn, this is brilliant. It makes me crazy when people discard vegetable waste. Skins and seeds can be saved frozen ,and when you have enough, dehydrate, powder and put into caps. Ie- pom skin has way more nutrients than the fruit itself but people just toss this valuable resource because they don't know what to do with itOther examples are dandelion which most people see as a pesky weed but is one of the most nutritious super foods on the planet. Another plant that I think could solve a lot of the world hunger problems is a plant called lambs quarters. It's also known as pig weed. It grows like crazy and most farmers see it as an annoying weed, but lambs quarters is delicious. It's almost impossible to find but if you can find somebody that grows organically you can dry it powder it put it in capsules and it is so nutritious that it almost replaces any multivitamin.
