… trauma and pain
 as a chisel
 to carve meaning out of the rough
 unfinished stone of suffering.
 
 Writing poetry is joining 
 a chorus of voices
 singing songs and psalms
 as beautiful as a tuning fork
 struck upon the heart of God.
